God's Servants. Imperfect, Intentional Parents. Holy Family Devotees. Resource Speakers. Homeschooling Parents for 15+ years.
Anthony and Tina Rodriguez met each other when they were both serving in youth ministry. They were fulltime lay missionaries for over 10 years. Fast forward to today, they are now homeschooling parents to five wonderful kids (plus one in heaven), and serve God as a family through The Feast Ortigas District of the Light of Jesus Family. They currently live in the Philippines but have been privileged to serve God in different countries like Brunei and East Timor.
Knowing completely well that they are imperfect parents, Anthony and Tina strive to practice Intentional Parenting, and founded Intentional Parenting Philippines to help build stronger families. They are also devotees of the Holy Family, and are occasional resource speakers on topics like parenting, faith formation, and motivation. Their family also has an online show called “Today with Team +JMJ+”, which is produced by the media arm of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines.
Anthony and Tina are also the co-founders of ROCKERS (or Roman Catholics Keeping Education Real) Philippines, a support group for Catholic Filipino parents who homeschool, afterschool, or are exploring homeschooling for their kids. Tina is also part of Educating for Life, the organizers of events for families like the Philippine Homeschool Convention, and the CONNECT Homeschooling and Intentional Parenting Summit.
Over and above all these, Anthony and Tina believe that their first and most important calling is to know, love, and serve God, and to teach and raise their children to do the same. This is reflected in their family’s “life verse”:
“. . . seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.” (Matthew 6:33, NABRE)
